New Year 2015

Well, it looks like The Mosebys are entering into a new season this year! Parenthood...officially.  We've filled out the mountain of paperwork, waited, answered lots of questions from curious acquaintances, and were matched with our son at Christmas!

What now, you ask? We stare at the 4 pictures we have of our son, fill out more paperwork, update our outdated paperwork (again), and start looking for a pediatrician.  We "think" our son will be home in about 6 months!  That's around the summer.

2014 was marked with a lot of sorrow!  I learned what it was like to have deep faith and deep sorrow ALL at the same time.  It was an interesting journey to struggle with sorrow knowing my faith wasn't being shaken. I just smiled at the encouraging words about faith from others.  Faith isn't a magic pill to make what you want appear.  It is a foundation that keeps us rooted during the sorrow.

My verse for 2014, and I think I'll keep it for 2015, was Proverbs 13:12.

"Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a desired fulfilled is a tree of life."

2014 was a good year and we have much to look forward to in 2015.

In 2014:
Turned 33
Got a tattoo
Dyed my hair purple
Traveled to 4 countries in 20 days on #mosebyvaca
And saw a picture of my son!

Josh and I have pictures on our phones of our son.  Feel free to ask to see!
